To Whom it may concern,
Hello my name is Grant Wiggins I am sending you this letter because I am in need of your assistance. I have been asked to help a young man named Jefferson. The task is for me to help Jefferson become a man. It's hard for me to accomplish this task because I can't teach someone who doesn't want to learn. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to death. Even thought he did not commit the crime he was there when it happen. During his trial, the prosecutor delineated Jefferson as being a hog, this has really impacted the self-esteem that Jefferson had. When I went to visit him I brought food, he asked me if I had corn, which indeed I did, and he got down on his knees and begin to eat the corn as if he were really a hog. I visit him because I was asked by Miss Emma to educate him before he is executed, but there is no possible way that I can get through to him. Jefferson does not listen to anything that I say, when he was eating the corn from the basket, I tried to make him understand that he was not an animal, but all he would say is, "This how a hog eat." I want to help Jefferson, but I just can't seem to get through to him. Miss Emma does not want her nephew to die believing that he is less than that of a human. What should I do to help him?
Sincerely, Grant

2. This symbolizes lack of freedom for a black person because black people couldn't go in places white people could. This quote has probably been used in multiple situation with freedom.

A Lesson Before Dying: Chapter 3 Questions/Answers
1. Henri insisted Jefferson did it redirects the plots narrative because Henri thinks Jefferson did the crime because he was there. He believes that because Jefferson did it he should have to suffer his consequences and die because he was labeled a hog.2.Grant implied that she looked at him differently. She keeps thinking about when they called him a hog, Miss Emma keeps saying that he doesn't have to go she is trying to make Grant feel bad.
3.The back door of Henri Pichot's plantation house symbolizes Grant going away to college and leaving behind the life that his aunt and Miss Emma had to live as servants. Having to enter the plantation house through the back door annoys Grant because when he left for college he was told to never enter through the back door again.
4. Miss Emma prevails on Mr. Henri in a strong way. She repeatedly says " I done did a lot for this family". This makes him think on all the good she has done by that family. She is trying to persuade Mr. Henri on trying to let Grant turn Jefferson into a man.

Blog Assignment 2
My dream is to become a entrepreneur. They excite me because they are so creative and unique. I will become a entrepreneur one day. I wonder one day will I be one of the richest entrepreneurs in the world. I will achieve my dream by going to business classes and selling product. I will be the one to take on greater financial risks than others. My vision will drive others to be more successful.
I will avoid deferring it by staying on task all the time. I will not let anything come between my priorities. Once I get the chance to become a entrepreneur I will embrace it and become one. I will not procrastinate and let my opportunity leave. Postponing or deffering your opportunity can cause great depression. If you lose your opportunity to become what you want, it will take more time to achieve.
